Goodbye 2013. Hello 2014.

If you remember, I mentioned that I don’t do annual resolutions, I do themes. For 2013, it was the year of Self-Discovery.

It was a long and hard year for me but I’m extremely grateful for my family and friends, experiences, and personal growth. Through the good times and the excruciatingly difficult moments, I know 2013 was the year I started to know and understand myself.

There were things I didn’t ever think I could do alone such as dancing and performing, moving out, camping, cooking/baking, driving, biking in the crazy streets of Toronto, taking my career to new heights, and adopting a bright beautiful dog… 2013 was the year I started to really live and to find the little joys of life.

So here’s to 2014 – the year of Focus… In addition to continually try new things, I’d love to take all the things I learned last year and do it better. I aim to improve my dancing and performances, I will learn Cantonese (conversational only lol), push my career sky high and gain new skills, help my dog reach her greatest potential, and more…! It’s through focus and staying on task, that I hope to achieve these things and make 2014 another great year for myself and the people around me.

Much love,

What a fantastic way to create a goal for the year. Resolutions are too restrictive and hard to follow. Hope to see some pictures of your dog!
